Namaste!
Lately, due to all the sunrises at Playa del Carmen posted on Facebook, some people has asked me about how is swimming at that time of the day; which it seems an excellent question because it is nothing but incredible!! Getting to the sea when it is all at peace like if it were also waking up with the morning light allows you to find an impressive mirror with imperceptible waves and highlighted colors with fishes and birds all over the place. It is just the best time to swim for therapeutic and relaxing purposes.
Usually you will find the sand very cold but during summertime, but as soon as you step on the edge, where the sand is touched by the sea, the sensation moves to being warm. I usually get into the water walking in slow movement, sunrise facing me and most of the times the relucent moon at my back. It is a feeling beyond description when going forward and watching how the sun rays are polishing the colors at the bottom of the sea making sand to shine. No matter how deep I am, I get to see the bottom and exactly what I step on; therefore every step I take it is given carefully and in a quiet way like if i were going to break something and all because the unpredictable shapes designed overnight on the sand are about to be disrupted by me. Once water gets to my neck (if i didnt gave up earlier) I start to swim! Since I moved here I became a whole new swimmer, i swim like a puppy anyway jajaja the thing is that this water is magic and magnetic, it absorbs me and doesnt let you go. It is the best pool I have been and it is natural!! If I get tired i just float on my back taking a break to leave right there all my worries and deliver myself to total abandon in Jesus Christ: at that moment he seems to carry me on his arms covered by his tunic created by the turquoises waves known as the Caribbean. If u stay still for a while in the water or if you get lost on some meditation you might notice fishes jumping around you or you might see a lobster or colorful fishes. When beach is this close you dont need to be hours and hours in it...for a working day from 15 to very spoiled 45minutes are extremely enough, even though you would never feel like leaving. The length of your bath doesnt really matter, as soon as you are touched by the water you are transported and transformed even though if you just took your feet in. With all this salted water my sinus and allergies have improved a lot, I guess this is what my granny Tuta meant when she used to tell me to go to the beach to be able to freely breath. After all, her idea wasnt bad and that gave me forever a good excuse to go to beaches everywhere jajajaaja. As long as there is life and beach, if the sea still exists, people will keep believing in God because in my opinion it is one of his best reflections and benefits and satisfies soul and body Amen!....of course there is also beach party!! but that will be on another time this time is about swimming with the sunrise so lets stick to it. I hope you try it soon if you have not on the closest beach, lake or river in the world right before sunrise..you will realize that's a whole new experience. Kisses and my best wishes and all the blessings for this 2012! Namaste!
